Purly Shell Knit- Comice Shrug
2023 Slow Yarn Crawl pattern from Purly Shell Yarn & Fiber Arts!
Comice Shrug by Kelli Slack
This sideways knit shrug starts with a bit of ribbing at the cuff and then switches from knitting in the round to knitting flat to achieve the shrug shape. Add in some increases, some decreases, and a little lace and you have the perfect recipe for a slouchy, loose, lacy shrug that is customizable.
The Comice Shrug is meant to fit loosely across the shoulder and curl up a bit at the edges due to the ribbing. Pay attention to the directions for the needle sizes as I also switched sizes from cuff to body and back again.
This pattern is meant for intermediate knitters to experienced knitters and all those in-between. Please read the entire pattern before beginning.
