Here is a little extra information about Bonus and Wild Card Shops for the 2023 Slow Yarn Crawl.
Q) What is a Bonus Shop?
A) A bonus shop is one that is an online shop. They have no physical store to visit. Bonus shops may have "pop-up" shops at other Slow Yarn Crawl shops or events like Black Sheep Gathering. There are 2 bonus shops on the 2023 Slow Yarn Crawl and they are not required to complete the crawl, BUT they do have their own Bonus Shop Prize Basket.
Q) What is a Wild Card Shop?
A) A Wild Card Shop is a shop whose stamp/sticker counts for ANY REGION. So if you just can't make it to the last shop in Region 1, you can use the Wild Card Shop as your final stamp/sticker for Region 1. There is one Wild Card shop for the 2023 Slow Yarn Crawl and this shop is required to complete the full crawl.
Wild Card shops also have a special prize! Take a selfie or video with the shop sign and post it to social media with #SYCWildCard to be entered in a special drawing just for visiting our Wild Card Shop.
