Slip over leggings or long johns for a snug, cozy warm bum on a cold fall or winter day. This short bum warmer features a purl stitch column on each side of the skirt to lend a sporty feel to your best adventures. This skirt is designed to be worn with -4" to 0" positive ease.
Finished Dimensions: 26 (28) 32 (35) 39 (44) 49 (53)", measured at full hip. Sample is a size 4, worn with -3-0" ease.
Yarn: 2 (2) 3 (3) 3 (4) 4 (5) balls The Fibre Co. &Make Aran (164 yds/150 m, 100g, 50% Fair Trade Highland Wool, 50% Alpaca), plus a bit for a color accent at the waist, if desired. Or 290 (312) 370 (404) 450 (526) 627 (678) yards of aran weight yarn. Note: If you knit the skirt longer, you may need more yarn.
Needle: US 5 (waistband) and US 6 body and hem, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 18 sts x 25 rows = 4” on larger needle
